So whether Gaga's drag queen label was given by haters and critics to spite her or to genuinely criticize her, we think we understand why. But really, she isn't a drag queen. If she is trying though, she's trying too hard.

First, she's too serious. There's nothing wrong about being seriously dedicated to the craft, but with Gaga, almost everything has to be profound. Case in point: Marry the Night.
Second, she dictates and doesn't seem to understand how to earn respect from her fellow drag queens. Remember when she said that Born This Way is the gay anthem of the decade?
Gaga, here's something to think about. You do NOT dictate an anthem for the gay community. The community picks it for them.
There's a reason why Gloria Gaynor's I Will Survive and Chaka Khan's I'm Every Woman have become anthems, and these women didn't impose. Just because Born This Way (the single) sold hundreds of copies during its first week of release doesn't mean the community has picked it to be an anthem.

Third, Gaga pushes herself so hard to be recognized as an artist. In fact, she can be a self-proclaimed artist. Drag queens don't go around telling people they are artists. They're just passionate doing what they do.
That said, the next time someone thinks Lady Gaga looks like a drag queen or is a drag queen, correct them. She isn't one.
